Sonic X Shadow Generations is stealing all the rings. We loved this remaster and reboot of 2011’s Sonic Generations. The new edition brings the best of the previous game to the table and adds a whole new segment with the addition of Shadow content, with new levels and powers.
Interweaving the plot of Sonic Generations with a gritty Shadow plot, both heroes zoom through a jumbled timeline to prevent doom. While the plot intermingles old and new Sonic, the mechanics do the same. Levels ported from Sonic Generations are playable in 2D, while Shadow’s levels include a blend of 2D and 3D elements with tight jumps and fast speeds.
