SAVE 25% ON TWO EV UBER RIDES: Now through April 30, Uber is offering 25% off two Comfort Electric rides with promo code GOELECTRIC.

April marks the unofficial start to "sitting outside for happy hour" season, which often translates to "treating yourself to an Uber" season.

Uber is incentivizing riders to take the eco-friendly route on their April trips with an Earth Month discount on its Comfort Electric tier. Enter the code GOELECTRIC in the Wallet tab of the Uber app by clicking "add promo code" and enjoy an automatic 25% off two rides in a premium electric vehicle like a Tesla, Polestar, or Ford Mustang Mach-E. Make sure to select the "Comfort Electric" option when choosing your ride.

The discount slashes up to $10 off each ride and should bring your total cost near or below the cost of the traditional UberX that most of us typically take — so there's no reason to not go electric here. You'll officially be a contributor to Uber's end goal of becoming a zero-emissions mobility platform in North America (and Europe) by 2030.

Comfort Electric isn't available everywhere, but Uber's introduction of 14 new markets for Earth Month brings the total number of participating cities to more than 40.

Her ever-growing experience in these categories comes in clutch when making recommendations on how to spend your money during shopping holidays like Black Friday, which Leah has been covering for Mashable since 2017.

The robot vacuum beat in particular has cemented itself as Leah's main ~thing~ across the past few years. Since 2019, her expertise has been perpetually bolstered by the meticulous eye she keeps on robot vacuum deals and new releases, but more importantly, her hands-on experience with more than 25 robot vacuums tested in her own home. (This number has probably gone up by the time you're reading this.) That at-home testing is standardized through Mashable's robot testing guide — a granular scoring rubric for assessing all aspects of owning and using a robot vacuum on the daily — that Leah created herself.

Leah graduated from Penn State University in 2016 with dual degrees in Sociology and Media Studies. When she's not writing about shopping (or shopping online for herself), she's almost definitely watching a horror movie, "RuPaul's Drag Race," or "The Office."
